Shri Praveen Vashistha, an educationist, has varied and rich experience in promoting education and sports activities and has made it sure that education and sports get their deserved priorities in the society. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1983 from Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain.
He also worked as a Junior Engineer in the Project of Construction of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi for about 2 years. He has been a Class-A civil contractor and successfully handled various voluminous projects of MPPWD, MPHB and UDA thus contributing to infrastructure development of the region. He visualized to see Ujjain as the hub of academic knowledge and excellence, as it was known in the ancient times and keeping this ambition in mind he (as a founder member), established Prasar Shishan Evam Sansthan (PSSS) in 2001-02.
He first started Mahakal Institute of Technology (MIT) as his dream project in 2001. With his visionary approach, within a short span of six years he formed Mahakal Group of Institutes by adding five more colleges, namely, MICS and MIPS in 2002, MIM in 2003, MITS in 2006 and MITM in 2007. These institutes run UG and PG programmes in various disciplines like BE, B. Pharm, ME, M.Pharm, MBA and MCA with more than 5000 students on board.
His contribution in the sports arena is also commendable and he is holding many responsible positions of various councils and associations. He was an honorary member of Madhya Pradesh Sports Council, which is the apex body of sports activities in Madhya Pradesh; he is also Vice President of District Olympic Association, vice- President of Madhya Pradesh Badminton Association President of District Badminton Association and Advisor of Swimming Association. He is also Co-chairman of Lions Club, Ujjain, supporting various human welfare activities. The success of Mahakal Group of Institutes reflects his determined efforts towards providing youth with ample opportunities to develop their skills, capabilities, personality and become good citizens of the country.
Er. Dharmandra Gupta is an Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He is the Vice Chairman of Mahakal Group of Institutes. He is innovative entrepreneur and eminent professional having excellent managerial qualities. Mr. Gupta is an inspiring personality, having power of maintaining soaring public relations. He is active member of Jan Swasthya Seva Samiti, Bhopal. A Society dedicated to provide basic health services to downtrodden class of our society.
To achieve its noble objective, society is running one year certificate course in basic health care in modem medicine for rural practitioners approved from medical education department of Government of Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Dharmendra is the Director, School of Broadcasting & Communication based at Mumbai and Director of Ideal Institute of & Research Centre, Jaipur
Mrs. Renu Vashistha has completed her Graduation & Post Graduation from Vanasthali Vidyapith (Rajasthan) which is meant exclusively for women. She was a rank holder in the University’s merit list & gold medalist in her post graduation degree. She rendered her academic services as an Assistant Professor in Girl's Degree College for 2 years.
She believes in Hard Work, Discipline, Honesty, & Integrity. Being women, she likes to work for the betterment of women fraternity. To keep this sublime objective, under her chairmanship she laid the foundation of Rashmika- the Women Empowerment Cell of MGI
Mr. Aditya Vashistha is a visionary enthusiast and is full of innovative ideas and vigor. He is a great believer of highly spirited work culture and has sound academic qualification and professional acumen. He completed his B. E. in Computer Science Engineering from Pune University (Maharashtra) in the year 2009.
While pursuing Master of Science in Computer Science at New York University (NYU), he worked closely and reported to Administrative Director of Technology Management department. There he served as Teaching Assistant to administrative Director and operational liaison to all the other departments.
After obtaining his M.S. from NYU in 2012, he worked for a couple of years in the domain of Software Development in one of the leading Banks of the world viz Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets (New York, USA). As a Technology Analyst there, he designed and developed applications for Electronic Trading desk and tools for Order Management System. He also participated as a solution team member in releases and iterations of agile software development.
He has keen interest in IT enabled learning & teaching and delivering the best quality education to the society. His aim is to take Mahakal Group of Institutes to scale new height of success in the realm of academics and research.
