National Programme for Technology Enhanced Learning(NPTEL) is a joint initiative from IITs and IISc to offer online courses and certification in various topics. NPTEL has been offering self-study courses across engineering, humanities and science streams for more than a decade. These are available at: https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in

Mahakal Institute of Technology, Ujjain is approved to be the Local Chapter of NPTEL Project with effect from March,2018. By participating in NPTEL online courses, our college is also participating in SWAYAM, the National MOOCs portal being developed by MHRD, Govt. of India. Many certificate courses are available under NPTEL. Our faculties and student have completed these courses.

Steps to register in NPTEL Courses:

• Open link: https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in/explorer.
• Choose the course(s) and click join button.
• Login to course portal with your Gmail account.
• Fill up following details:
  1. Personal Details: Name, Mobile Number, Age Group, Country, Profession as a student
  2. Education Details (MIT Students):
  Are you a part of an NPTEL local chapter: Yes
  State, College Name, Roll Number, Year of graduation
  Check both the options of Terms of service and honor code then click Join Button.
• After enrolling for a course using a mail id, you can enroll to multiple courses using the same mail
• You will receive a confirmation mail from NPTEL along with all course related information and course URL
