Shri Mahaveer Prasad Vashistha, Ex. M.L.A. Eminent Social worker and Political Leader. He is the supreme figure behind the concept and origin of MIT fraternity. Shri Mahaveer Prasad Vashishtha is a well known name in this region. He started his career as an educationalist.
He is a founder member of Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan, Ujjain. He has a holistic vision and has pragmatic approach to serve the society. He has devoted his entire life and potentials in the noble services of society. He lays emphasis that Mahakal Group of Institutes should have its indigenous image and a niche in the academic world. He worked as a Vice Chairman of Congress party under the able leadership of Hon'ble Shri Digvijay Singhji for 3 decades.
He represented Ujjain as a member of Legislative Assembly for two consecutive tenures from 1980 to 1990. He was Chairman of Forest Development Corporation for 5 years and Vice Chairman of MPSRTC for 5 years. He was also Chairman of District Co-operative Bank Ujjain for almost 2 decades.
