Pharmacy Program (D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm )
In our day-to-day life pharmacists play an important role, because they are very much into research and manufacturing of medicines. As a pharmacist, one has to comprehend the composition and effects of medicines. Thus, pharmacy is closely associated with scientific study. The courses are introduced to the students a variety of skills, attitudes and behaviours important to contemporary pharmacy practice; as pharmacy deals with design, manufacturing, and distribution of quality medicines.
D. Pharm/ B. Pharm:
This degree is a good launching pad for higher studies. It provides the basic qualification for Master's degree in different specializations of Pharmacy.
Eligibility: 10+2 is the basic qualification required for B. Pharm degree from a recognized education board with PCM/ PCB.
M. Pharm:
The masters’ degree encompasses the applied knowledge of various subjects like Medicines from plants, animals, minerals sources, Drug designing, Pharmacology, Drug discovery, Bioinformatics and Drug analysis etc. Most importantly it deals how to ensure that patients get the maximum benefit from medicines with the minimum incidence of side effects.
Eligibility: B. Pharm is the basic qualification required to take admission in M.Pharm from a recognized university.
